Kid-Friendly, Mild Jambalaya

While many associate crab imperial with spring and summer, with blue claw crab meat widely available in modern supermarkets and online stores, this dish can bring some of those warm summer vibes to even the frostiest of months.

This natural sweetness provided by the carrots is balanced out with the crisp, hoppy bitterness offered by a strong pale ale or IPA, like this Zombie Dust.

Met up with some yinzers for this “Field Trip” to the Steel City; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Grabbed some great grub (and some of the giant sandwiches the city has become known for) and a few good pints at Fat Heads Saloon, and marveled at the unconventional location that The Church Brew Works has built inside of while sampling some beers made there.
